Solstice Wishes

Wherever you are and whatever you are doing I wish you well at this turning of the wheel.
Longest Night is almost upon us and we can look forwards now to the Rebirth of the Sun.

A picture of a Tree I know well accompanied by Music to make your soul stir.

      1. That is sad. I think I will look more into his music which at least he has left that behind for others to enjoy for years to come.

      2. Aye tis sad and was a great loss. Not only was he a fabulous musician/writer but also a very warm and generous human being. As well as his work with Lindisfarne he produced a few solo albums. Enjoy the search for the Spirit of Alan.

      3. I will do it this evening. I have about 80 gift haiku to work on so having beautiful music will help. Thank you for introducing me to such music and person.

  1. Arrrggghhh…I am commenting on the wrong thread…I was under the misapprehension that we were at paulscribbles…so the conversation above belongs there under this weeks Ligo Haibun…the conversation here should have been about Davy Spillane, the piper above, who happily is still alive and well. Now his musical journey is a whole other story. If you go a looking watch out for Planxty and Moving Hearts. Apologies for the mix up and for hinting at a premature death ๐Ÿ˜‰
